Geographically, this neighborhood is part of Excelsior south of highway 7, in between Christmas Lake and Galpin Lake. It is made up of 50+ single family homes, 8 duplexes and 5 apartment complexes.
The South of Highway 7 Community Park site is situated within safe walking distance for all neighbors and closest to the highest density.

Excelsior Commons and beach / playground are located north of Highway 7 and west of Mill Street, posing challenges for safe pedestrian crossing.
